Senior Java Developer

Scalo is involved in projects in the banking sector, focusing on backend application development using Java and Spring Boot.

• Higher technical education in STEM
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java Developer
• Very good knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA
• Experience using AI tools (preferably GitHub Copilot)
• Experience in creating and developing REST and SOAP services
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and Oracle SQL
• Experience in writing unit tests
• Knowledge of Maven and RabbitMQ
• Experience working in Agile and SCRUM methodologies
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL (nice to have)
• Experience or interest in DevOps (nice to have)
• Experience in banking or financial projects (nice to have)
• Knowledge of system analysis methods (nice to have)
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and CI/CD processes (nice to have)

• Participation in projects related to the banking industry
• Development and maintenance of backend applications based on Java and Spring Boot
• Implementation of new services and integrations with internal and external systems
• Creation and development of REST and SOAP integrations
• Designing and developing solutions based on microservice architecture
• Using tools such as Maven, RabbitMQ, and Oracle SQL in daily development work
• Remote work with occasional visits to the office in Poznań or Wrocław (once every 1-3 months max)
