Principal Cloud Engineer (GCP Lead / Azure Secondary)

We are seeking a skilled Principal Cloud Engineer (GCP Lead / Azure Secondary) to join our client's team to serve as the primary architect for our GCP ecosystem while maintaining seamless integration and governance over our Azure footprint. You will lead the "Infrastructure as Code" strategy, ensuring a unified, automated deployment lifecycle across both providers.

• 10+ Years Experience: Extensive background in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• GCP Specialist: Deep expertise in Vertex AI, VPCs, IAM, and GKE (Professional Cloud Architect preferred).
• Azure Competency: Strong working knowledge of Azure basics (AD, VNet, VMs, and Storage) as a secondary cloud.
• Terraform Expert: Mastery of state management and modular design for multi-cloud environments.
• Automation: Expert-level GitHub Actions and Python for DevOps tooling.

• Professional Cloud Architect certification.

• Primary GCP Architecture: Own the full lifecycle of Google Cloud infrastructure, focusing on high availability, security, and cost-optimization.
• Secondary Azure Governance: Manage and integrate Azure resources, ensuring cross-cloud connectivity and identity management align with primary GCP standards.
• IaC Standardization: Architect and maintain enterprise-scale Terraform modules specifically optimized for GCP and Azure resource provisioning.
• Kubernetes Orchestration: Lead the scaling and security of Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), managing complex networking and cluster lifecycles.
• CI/CD Leadership: Design robust, automated deployment workflows using GitHub Actions for multi-environment delivery.
• Custom Automation: Develop Python scripts to automate cloud-native tasks, monitoring, and resource cleanup.
