IDEAS RESEARCH INSTITUTE is a research and development center operating in the field of artificial intelligence and digital economy. Its mission is to support the development of these technologies in Poland by creating a platform connecting the academic and business communities. Established by the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the Ministry of National Defense, the institute aims to build the largest space in Poland conducive to innovative research and to educate a new generation of scientists focused on practical application and commercialization of algorithms in various sectors including industry, finance, and medicine.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Documented experience in Backend Development and DevOps practices.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining machine learning models or complex, queue-based distributed systems is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), Linux server architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of at least one pipeline orchestration stack (Airflow, Argo, Luigi, Temporal, Hatchet, etc.) and message broker (e.g., RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with serving large language models (e.g., SGLang) or LLM agentic frameworks is a strong plus.

• Take ownership of the infrastructure behind innovative, AI-driven systems developed in the Institute.
• Maintain backend architecture and manage system deployments, often focusing on secure, on-premise environments.
• Ensure high availability of runtime platforms.
• Design scalable solutions and integrate new AI components such as LLMs, Computer Vision, and OCR pipelines into existing architecture.
