Accounts Payable Clerk (Entry Level Opportunity)

• Exceptional education achievements in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent spreadsheet skills, including pivots and lookups
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines

• Experience using an enterprise-level accounting system

• Maintain accuracy of A/P ledgers and reconciliation of accounts
• Manage vendor data, validate and gain approval for new accounts, maintain audit records of vendor data changes and approvals
• Process supplier invoices timely and accurately, including entry into accounting systems and file organization
• Prepare supplier payments according to the payments timetable and present for approval
• Identify payments properly withheld, monitor and release when approved
• Assist with month-end processes: prepayments, accruals, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Resolve questions and issues, escalating when appropriate in a timely manner
• Maintain compliance with processes and procedures, recommend corrective actions, and keep suitable records to demonstrate compliance
