Senior Legal Counsel

Rebel Wolves is a new game development studio founded by industry veterans who have worked on critically acclaimed titles such as "The Witcher 3" and "Cyberpunk 2077". The studio focuses on creating and managing games with a team-first approach and is currently working on an AAA dark fantasy RPG set in a new universe with a grounded and realistic visual style.

• Law degree (Polish law)
• 5+ years of experience in a standalone legal role
• Solid knowledge of civil and commercial law
• Experience with intellectual property licensing and content exploitation
• Experience supporting management boards and senior stakeholders
• Strong contract negotiation skills, including high-value commercial agreements
• Ability to independently prioritize legal matters and operate with limited supervision
• Business-oriented mindset balancing legal risk and commercial objectives
• Experience managing external counsel and legal budgets
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain legal concepts to non-lawyers
• Very good command of English, including legal terminology
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Nice to have:

• Experience in video games, technology, software, or digital entertainment industry
• Previous in-house legal role experience
• Handling publishing, distribution, or platform agreements
• Supporting M&A, investment, fundraising, or shareholder transactions
• Managing corporate governance and board-level matters
• Navigating AI-related legal issues and technology regulation
• Dealing with labour law and personal data protection regulations
• Operating successfully in an international environment

• Providing ongoing legal support to the company, particularly in civil, commercial, and intellectual property law
• Preparing, verifying, and negotiating contracts from both formal and legal perspectives
• Supporting the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures in line with applicable regulations
• Identifying legal risks and proposing practical, business-oriented solutions
• Coordinating work with external law firms, including commissioning tasks and reviewing delivered work
• Handling all other legal matters as they arise
