Business Analyst (MFA / IAM)

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale authentication and security transformation programme. The role combines classic BA responsibilities with strong exposure to MFA, passwordless authentication and FIDO-based, phishing-resistant solutions. You will work closely with IAM, cybersecurity, engineering and business teams to drive clarity, shape requirements and support global rollout activities.

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or IT Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong analytical skills and process mapping capability.
• Experience supporting large-scale deployments, ideally related to MFA or authentication changes.
• Ability to work closely with engineers, IAM specialists and operational teams.
• Confident communicator able to challenge constructively and drive clarity with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-sufficient, strong ownership of deliverables and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and willingness to improve team usage of these tools.
• Knowledge of MFA concepts and phishing-resistant authentication, including FIDO-based approaches.

• Lead requirements elicitation through workshops and interviews, document and manage requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Conduct gap analysis and translate outcomes into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support technology assessments by capturing requirements, constraints and impacts for MFA/passwordless/FIDO adoption.
• Collaborate with business units, IT, IAM and cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Present progress, decisions and risks in stakeholder forums; communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Produce and maintain process maps, user journeys and current-state vs future-state flows, including exception and recovery paths.
• Support PoC, pilot and rollout planning, including readiness inputs, comms/training needs and operational considerations.
• Maintain programme documentation in Confluence/Jira and prepare reports/dashboards using Power BI or Excel.
• Track actions, RAID items and decisions to ensure delivery momentum and auditability.
