Chapter Leader – Project Management

PKO Leasing S.A. is a leasing company belonging to the Capital Group of the Largest Bank in Poland.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management, including 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Practical experience managing complex IT projects involving multiple teams, technologies, and stakeholders.
• 5 years of experience working in financial institutions.
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
• Ability to develop people, provide constructive feedback, conduct development conversations, and build team engagement.
• Ability to build authority based on trust, collaboration, and substantive support.
• Ability to create work standards, implement processes, and ensure their consistent application.
• Comfortable communicating with technical and business stakeholders.
• Skilled in mediation, prioritization, and managing conflicting expectations.
• Experience in risk, change, budget, and project schedule management.
• Systemic thinking, seeing projects as part of IT strategy and business goals.
• Experience working in an organization based on the Tribe/Chapter model.
• Experience collaborating with PMO and product and technology teams.
• Practical knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Experience creating dashboards, status reports, risk registers, change logs, and other tools supporting project transparency.
• Ability to use AI tools in work.
• Higher education in technical, economic, management, or project management fields.

Nice to have:

• General knowledge of IT system architecture, integrations, and deployment environments.
• Knowledge of English language.

• Managing a team of Technical Project Managers and supporting their daily project work.
• Developing TPM competencies, conducting development conversations, supporting individual development plans, and building a culture of responsibility.
• Creating, implementing, and enforcing standards and best practices for IT project management.
• Ensuring quality management of projects in terms of time, budget, scope, risks, and communication.
• Supporting planning and allocation of resources to IT projects.
• Monitoring project progress, risks, dependencies, and escalations, and initiating corrective actions.
• Collaborating with stakeholders from technology, business, and administrative teams.
• Maintaining transparent communication of statuses, decisions, risks, and priorities.
• Supporting teams in change management and adapting to new tools, processes, and ways of working.
• Analyzing project data, costs, risks, and team efficiency, then recommending improvements.
