Senior Python Engineer

Godel Technologies Europe is a software engineering company headquartered in Manchester, UK, with over 1.5k employees across Europe and 1.2k in Poland across five offices including Bialystok. Must have:

• 6+ years professional Python experience (post-graduation)
• At least 0.5 years commercial experience with AI tools on projects including agents, MCP integrations, skill crafting, Spec-driven integration, SDLC with agents, or RAG chatbots
• Strong Python 3.9+ engineering skills including async/await, dataclasses, Pydantic, NumPy, Pandas
• Experience with API/integration: REST, GraphQL, third-party systems
• Automated testing skills: unit, integration, E2E
• Ability to start solo on new projects, drive client communication, and grow team if needed
• Experience with FastAPI, Django REST Framework or Flask
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and ORMs (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM)
• Knowledge of architecture patterns: clean architecture, DDD, CQRS, event-driven systems
• Experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker, Docker Compose)
• Personalized AI workflow experience: custom skills, prompt templates, project-level instructions
• Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar
• Prompt engineering skills to produce structured, reliable output and evaluate AI-generated code
• Critical evaluation of AI output
• Passion for clean code, peer reviews, and high code quality
• Experience with scaling: vertical scaling, single-tenant deployments
• Autonomy and comfort in open team cultures
• AWS experience (RDS, S3, Kubernetes, SQS, RabbitMQ)
• Ready to work on Windows (WSL)
