• Proficient in SAP Material Master, PIR, SL with 3-5 years SAP MM experience preferred.
• Proficiency with transactions such as MM01, MM02, Qa08, MEK1, ME11, ME01, ME02, MM17.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience working within a matrix structure in an international fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on attitude with ability to operate with minimal supervision across different geographical and cultural backgrounds.
• Fluent in English.

• Create and maintain local material master records and perform ongoing maintenance of local data for global materials.
• Provide guidance to commercial functional teams regarding procedural and systematic tasks for material master management in IRIS.
• Analyze business problems and operational data to formulate solutions.
• Ensure application of Alcon business rules defined in the GDM Data Dictionary during data maintenance.
• Analyze and complete new material master setup and change requests in Alcon ERP system.
• Support day-to-day business operations.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Sales teams to resolve master data issues.
• Query disparate databases to analyze large data sets supporting ERP data validation.
• Participate in data governance and data quality/cleansing activities.
• Coordinate data setup activities like costing, pricing, and material data extension approvals.
• Collect and store evidence of change events related to financially-controlled material master attributes.
• Perform monthly financial control audits using standard guidelines.
• Serve as primary contact within regional business for material-related disruptions.
• Understand local and regional SCM structure to perform appropriate extensions and setups.
• Support maintenance of local affiliate settings coordinating with warehouses, customer service, planners, and marketing.
• Work with Global Data Management team to represent EMEA in global material setting changes.
