IT Architect (AWS Cloud & Microservices) with German

YourITeams is engaged in a mission-critical project involving real-time data exchange and high operational demands, focusing on a large, distributed system landscape for traffic dispatching and event-driven data platforms.

• Strong experience in microservices architecture for web applications, particularly using Java and TypeScript.
• Deep expertise in cloud environments, primarily AWS, and familiarity with relevant managed services.
• Hands-on experience with event streaming technologies, especially Apache Kafka or AWS MSK.
• Proven knowledge of cloud-based databases such as AWS DocumentDB or Amazon Aurora.
• Ability to design target architectures and define architectural guidelines for distributed systems.
• Experience in system analysis and executing transformations from as-is to target architectures.
• Experience defining interfaces between systems and services, including API design principles.
• Capability to produce clear architectural documentation and developer guidelines.
• German language proficiency sufficient for project work and technical documentation.

Nice to have:

• Experience in agile-at-scale environments (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe).
• Knowledge of GraphQL and AWS AppSync.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience in event-driven and real-time architectures.
• Prior work with high-availability or mission-critical systems.

• Design and define target architectures for cloud-native, microservice-based systems supporting real-time traffic dispatching and event-driven data flows.
• Develop architectural guidelines, interface definitions, and patterns to ensure consistency across systems and services.
• Perform system analysis and drive transformations from as-is to target architectures, including migration planning and risk assessment.
• Provide advisory input to development teams on design decisions, technology choices, and implementation approaches.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, developer guidelines, and operational runbooks in German and English.
• Integrate event streaming technologies and cloud database solutions into designs ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote automation, CI/CD practices, and standardisation of deployment and operational procedures.
• Contribute hands-on to validate designs, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts in the target environment.
