Regular / Senior Java Developer (Java, SQL)

Scalo is engaged in projects in the logistics and eCommerce industry, specifically developing and expanding a Warehouse Execution System (WES) for large, automated warehouses. The project is carried out by an international development team cooperating with QA and architects.

• At least 6 years of commercial experience as a Java Developer
• Very strong knowledge of Java and Spring (Spring Boot)
• Experience working with microservices-based architecture
• Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and messaging systems (JMS / ActiveMQ)
• Experience working with high-throughput systems
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
• Fluent communication in English (minimum B2+/C1)
• Ready for periodic on-site work in accordance with a rotational schedule

• Participation in a project related to the development and expansion of a Warehouse Execution System (WES) for large, automated warehouses
• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-throughput backend applications
• Analysis and development of existing system components and designing new functionalities
• Creating Proof of Concept solutions for new technologies
• Supporting QA and Infrastructure teams in deployment processes
• Maintaining high code quality and technical documentation
• Remote support and troubleshooting of client-side systems
• Hybrid work with mandatory readiness for on-site work in a rotational model (1–2 weeks on-site, followed by several weeks remote) near Poznań and occasionally in the Czech Republic (all travel costs covered)
