Kotlin Developer

Scalo is involved in projects including e-commerce and loyalty platforms, utilizing modern technologies such as Kotlin, AWS, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures.

• Experience as a Backend Developer
• Proficient knowledge of Kotlin
• Experience testing applications using JUnit
• Experience with Jenkins Pipeline and CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficient with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases
• Experience designing and implementing solutions in AWS (S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, ElastiCache)
• Knowledge of Terraform or AWS CLI
• Experience using Git and working in Scrum environments
• Ability to write clean, well-tested code following best programming practices
• Responsible, independent, and team-oriented work approach

• Participation in e-commerce project development using Kotlin, JUnit, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Oracle, AWS, Terraform, AWS CLI, and Git
• Creating and developing APIs, BFF, event listeners, and batch processes supporting loyalty areas
• Migrating legacy solutions to modern event-driven architecture based on Kafka
• Implementing end-to-end functionalities from design to production deployment in AWS/Kubernetes environment
• Collaborating with Product, Marketing, and other engineering teams on loyalty product development
• Participating in architectural decisions and platform development
• Ensuring code quality through pair programming, peer review, and automated tests
• Working in a self-organizing Agile Scrum team
