Product Manager - Apptio Platform (BI)

IBM Apptio delivers category-leading TBM SaaS solutions for ITFM, FinOps, and Strategic Portfolio Management. The Apptio Platform Product Management team works across global stakeholders including customers, partners, engineering, sales, product marketing, and support, providing composable services underpinning the entire Apptio product portfolio.

• Demonstrated expertise in SQL, data modeling techniques, Data Warehouse (Snowflake/Oracle/etc.), and data pipelines (ETL).
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, ThoughtSpot.
• Exposure to delivering self-serve reporting capabilities, ad-hoc data analysis, and dashboard/reporting widgets.
• Product Management experience managing foundational platforms delivering Enterprise SaaS in a B2B environment.
• Ability to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous, fast-moving situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Cloud Billing and Cost Optimization.
• Strong technical acumen and experience with Cloud-based architectures and cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, IBM).

• Own and drive a strategic vision and roadmap for Apptio’s BI platform and translate it into clear tactical roadmap items.
• Work across Engineering, Sales, Support, and Marketing teams to gather feedback, refine strategy, and provide guidance.
• Provide detailed product requirements to help the Platform Engineering team build platform services leveraged by other Apptio products.
• Act as a subject matter expert to support internal teams in leveraging and integrating reporting into their products.
