DevOps - Platform Engineer

• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker and application containerization
• Good knowledge of GitLab and GitLab CI/CD
• Ability to design and maintain build/test/deploy pipelines
• Familiarity with Linux and server environments
• Experience deploying backend and web applications
• Basic networking knowledge: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, reverse proxy, ingress, certificates, load balancing
• Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python
• Understanding of CI/CD practices, versioning, rollback, and artifact management
• Ability to diagnose production and environment issues
• Attention to repeatability, documentation, and quality of deployment processes
• Additional requirements: AI-assisted engineering and automation
• Building tools and scripts to reduce manual team work
• Automating repetitive development and operations tasks
• Practical knowledge of AI agents and tools like Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor or similar
• Using AI agents for repository analysis, script generation, configuration refactoring, and process documentation
• Ability to verify code, configurations, and changes generated by AI
• Designing processes to help the team deliver software faster and more securely

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Helm
• Knowledge of Ansible
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK/OpenSearch or similar observability tools
• Experience with nginx, Traefik, cert-manager, ingress-nginx
• Secrets management tools like Vault, Sealed Secrets, SOPS
• Experience deploying Python, FastAPI, or ML services
• Basic knowledge of MLOps: model deployment, versioning, GPU resources, task queues
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, MQTT or other communication systems

• Experience in edge/on-premise environments, not only public cloud

• Designing, maintaining, and developing Kubernetes environments for backend, web, and AI/ML applications
• Building and optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Automating deployments, tests, builds, releases, and development processes
• Containerizing applications and preparing Docker images
• Deploying Python/FastAPI applications, ML services, and microservices
• Organizing the process from commit to production including branch flow, merge requests, reviews, tests, artifacts, versioning, and rollback
• Configuring development, test, staging, and production environments
• Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Improving reliability, security, and repeatability of deployments
• Supporting the development team in automating daily tasks
