Senior Infrastructure Engineer (GCP / Event Streaming)

• Hands-on experience with GCP, especially Pub/Sub
• Experience working with event-driven architectures and distributed systems
• Understanding of IAM concepts and messaging patterns such as retries and dead-letter queues/topics
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability practices
• Experience with data contracts, Avro, or schema registry solutions
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery
• Good communication skills
• Good command of English (min. B2)
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required

Nice to have:

• Experience working with large-scale event bus platforms
• Practical experience with auditability and data governance concepts
• Familiarity with observability and incident analysis tools
• Experience applying GenAI in a structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations
• Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices such as agent-based workflows, automation patterns, and AI-augmented development

• Designing and developing infrastructure solutions based on GCP Pub/Sub
• Building and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable event-driven environments
• Supporting schema management and data contract implementation across teams
• Ensuring reliability, auditability, and maintainability of event-driven systems
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting production environments
• Collaborating with teams to improve platform stability and operational processes
