Senior Software Engineer (Backend): Crypto Payments

• 5+ years experience as a Backend Developer, preferably in FinTech
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Ability to design, architect, debug, test, and document code
• Production experience with asynchronous messaging and microservices
• Understanding of design patterns and principles
• Ability to translate abstract challenges into actionable solutions
• Experience taking products from initiation to market and supporting post-launch
• Good understanding of financial services, especially banking, payments, or crypto
• Familiarity with distributed ledger technology or blockchain is a plus
• Willingness to participate in out-of-hours on-call rota

• Collaborate with the product team to iterate fast and deliver results
• Translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Advocate for the simplest and most effective approaches
• Develop future-proof products with quality code
• Contribute to engineering culture and standards
