Senior VFX Artist (f/m/d)

• Experience creating high-quality VFX for action/FPS/TPS games (AAA or PC/console)
• Strong understanding of real-time VFX workflows and particle systems (Unity or Unreal)
• Hands-on experience with tools like EmberGen, Substance Designer, Photoshop (or similar)
• Understanding of projectile behavior and interaction with surfaces and environments
• Practical knowledge of optimizing VFX for mobile (overdraw, draw calls, shader performance)
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Designing and implementing a full range of combat VFX including muzzle flashes, tracers, impacts, ricochets, and explosions
• Collaborating with Game Design and Animation to support gameplay readability and enhance player experience
• Shaping the feel of weapons and ammo through high-quality, responsive effects
• Optimizing VFX for mobile performance while maintaining visual quality
• Iterating on work based on feedback and playtests to improve in-game feel
