Vulnerability Management Operations Analyst

• Understanding of Vulnerability Management and Patch Management processes
• Experience working with large datasets and data analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formulas, data manipulation)
• Good knowledge of SQL queries
• Understanding of cloud technologies
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive and independent approach to work
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and AI-based tools

Vulnerability Management Operations:

• Monitor and track vulnerability remediation activities across multiple teams
• Review compliance reports and validate remediation timelines
• Identify inconsistencies in remediation planning and implement corrective actions
• Support operational processes using AI-powered tools
• Coordinate communication between cybersecurity and technical teams
• Monitor operational communication channels and escalate issues when required

Reporting & Data Analysis:

• Prepare operational and management reports using data from various systems and dashboards
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, issues, and gaps
• Validate automated reports and investigate data discrepancies
• Create and implement action plans to resolve reporting and operational issues
• Support senior management reporting with clear and concise updates

Remediation Coordination:

• Support analysis activities related to urgent security and vulnerability issues
• Collaborate with infrastructure, patching, and cloud teams to drive remediation activities
• Help maintain SLA compliance and support “Path to Green” remediation planning
• Coordinate time-sensitive decommissioning and remediation activities

Meeting & Stakeholder Management:

• Organise and manage operational meetings, including agenda preparation and action tracking
• Maintain effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support collaboration across multiple teams and operational areas
• Track issues and ensure follow-through until resolution
