Senior Full Stack Java Engineer

The role is part of a large-scale transformation program within a global financial environment, focusing on building a modern microservices platform and supporting existing systems.

• 8+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience building microservices architectures.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with DevOps / CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with TDD (JUnit) and automated testing.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Spring Cloud ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, HTML5.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or GCP).
• Experience with messaging systems (MQ, Solace).
• Working with distributed systems / in-memory data stores (e.g. Redis, Hazelcast).
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot).

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
• Work in an Agile / DevOps environment with CI/CD practices.
• Build microservices and REST APIs.
• Ensure high quality through testing (TDD, integration, regression).
• Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps and product teams.
• Support production systems (monitoring, incident resolution).
• Mentor junior team members.

Hybrid work model: 2 days per week from the office in Kraków.
