Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

The Collateral DevOps team is responsible for development and maintenance of micro-services and the core Collateral platform on on-premises (HIC/IKP) and Google Cloud (GCP) environments. The team collaborates globally with 120 professionals located in London, Krakow, Guangzhou, Toronto, and Pune, delivering over 700 production changes monthly using standardized Agile DevSecOps processes. The technology stack includes Java 11, Spring Boot, Google Cloud Platform services (CloudSQL, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Operations), Oracle Coherence, Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, Angular for UI, and integration via MQ, File, Web Service, and REST interfaces. DevOps tools used include TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and FLUX.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with GCP and DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Jira
• Significant experience in software design, development, and testing, preferably with Java and Python
• Strong DevOps and environment capabilities, proficient in scripting languages (shell script and Python)
• Experience working with Linux and containerized platforms
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Cloud Build, and Ansible
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and DevSecOps pipeline setup and maintenance
• Understanding of Messaging Queues (IBM MQ), sFTP connectivity, and TLS implementations using certificates
• Self-motivated with willingness to learn new technologies and business domains
• Excellent communication skills
