Java Developer

LinkGroup is hiring for a Backend Software Engineer to work on modern, large-scale digital platforms for a global financial services client.

• Solid commercial experience with Java (8+/11+/17+).
• Strong knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience working with SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and build tools (Maven or Gradle).
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps teams.
• Very good English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Messaging or event-driven systems (Kafka, MQ).
• Experience in banking, finance, or other regulated environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java.
• Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices used at scale.
• Work closely with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver new features.
• Contribute to system design with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and security.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver work through CI/CD pipelines.
• Review code, write automated tests, and support applications in production.
• Continuously improve code quality, tooling, and engineering practices.
