IBM Expert Labs – UKI Automation Platform Resource Deployment

IBM Expert Labs UKI Automation Platform focuses on resource deployment across client engagements, collaborating with Automation Practice Leaders, Sales, and global resource management teams. The role supports ALM and IT Automation practices and strategic Data Platform growth.

• Experience working with resource deployment and allocation across multiple platforms
• Exposure to IBM's Automation Technology Portfolio
• Customer-facing role requiring strong communication and professionalism

Resource Planning & Pre-Sales:

• Partner with Sales and Solution Architects to validate demand and resourcing strategy for pipeline
• Create and manage Draft Project Records in Clarizen
• Drive early identification of skill requirements aligned to Auto Platform GTM priorities
• Build proactive deployment plans aligned to backlog and forecasted demand

Resource Assignment:

• Own staffing of UKI Auto Platform projects ensuring timely fulfilment
• Optimise use of UKI resources before leveraging cross-geo or subcontractors
• Manage cross-border and subcontractor approvals
• Align resource assignment to commercial targets (cost vs revenue)

Delivery Execution Support:

• Continuously monitor utilisation across Auto Platform delivery teams
• Actively manage re-deployment, extensions and PCRs
• Resolve resource conflicts and mitigate delivery risk
• Ensure alignment between forecasted and actual utilisation

Capacity & Performance Management:

• Track capacity vs demand across UKI Auto Platform
• Maintain accurate visibility of skills, availability and deployment horizon
• Drive reductions in bench and improve billable readiness
• Provide insights into skill gaps to support hiring and upskilling strategies

Project Closure & Release:

• Ensure timely release and redeployment of resources
• Maintain forward-looking visibility of availability
• Support seamless transition of consultants between engagements

Governance & Stakeholder Management:

• Ensure compliance with IBM deployment, procurement and subcontracting policies
• Partner with Delivery Managers to enforce disciplined resource planning
• Engage with leadership on deployment risks and mitigation actions
