RAN Architect

EXATEL is a Polish telecommunications company with 30 years of experience providing comprehensive telecommunications services across Poland for operators, businesses, and the public sector. The company operates over 23,800 km of network infrastructure and engages in R&D activities in ICT, developing proprietary network devices (SDN) and cybersecurity software (TAMA - anti-DDoS). EXATEL also offers external SOC support and satellite communication services based on its own teleport.

• Experience in designing or maintaining 4G/5G radio networks, especially in the RAN area.
• Practical knowledge of RAN architecture (gNB, cell configuration, frequency planning, RAN KPIs).
• Understanding of RAN integration with 5G Core Network and transport elements (backhaul/fronthaul).
• Knowledge of the telecommunications market and a personal vision of its development towards 2030.
• Comprehensive knowledge of 3GPP work, particularly related to IMT-2020 (5G) and IMT-2030 (6G).
• Experience in developing long-term action plans (strategies).
• Experience collaborating with technical teams, especially domain and solution architects.
• Experience conducting discussions with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
• Experience working with technical teams and mobile technology vendors.

• Plan and develop Private 5G networks in the RAN domain.
• Define, agree on, and refine key functional and technical requirements.
• Perform comprehensive planning of the 5G radio access network including topology, capacity, coverage, and radio parameters.
• Continuously monitor technological trends and acquire knowledge on long-term RAN and 5G radio network development.
• Collaborate with technical teams of external entities such as suppliers and 5G technology integrators.
