1dea is working on a greenfield enterprise platform project involving advanced AI models, data centers, and photonics.

• Minimum 5 years of experience building backend or distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, or Go.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and API design.
• Ability to design databases including relational models, normalization, and performance optimization.
• Experience with concurrent and parallel programming and designing scalable systems.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-team collaboration.
• English proficiency at B2+ / C1 level for international cooperation.

• Designing and building distributed backend systems supporting MES and production control.
• Defining system architecture, APIs, and data models for high-scale, reliable environments.
• Creating microservices and integrations connecting internal systems with ERP, suppliers, and production partners.
• Analyzing existing MES and enterprise systems to design optimal solutions.
• Leading prototyping, proof-of-concept creation, and iterative system improvements.
• Designing and implementing data flows and processes across multiple systems.
• Enabling real-time data transmission, transformation, and event-driven automation.
• Building integrations connecting production systems, external partners, and internal tools.
• Applying best practices in architecture, code quality, and system design.
• Conducting code reviews.
• Ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability through testing and optimization.

Work location: Kraków, Poland. Employment form: B2B contract directly with client, no intermediaries. Candidates at Senior, Staff, and Technical Lead/Architect levels are considered. Availability can be ASAP or with a 3-month notice period. CVs should be submitted in English.
