PHP Developer

ITFS Sp. z o.o. is a company offering a fully remote position for a PHP Developer with experience in backend development and DevOps tools.

• Minimum 3-4 years of commercial experience as a PHP Developer
• Expert knowledge of modern PHP (version 8.2+)
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns without frameworks (experience with Vanilla PHP)
• Ability to design scalable application architecture and create stable APIs (REST / GraphQL)
• Practical knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (Redis, Elasticsearch)
• Practical experience with DevOps tools and process automation: containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines configuration (GitLab CI, Jenkins), and public clouds (AWS, GCP)
• Strong focus on code quality supported by experience in automated testing (PHPUnit), static code analysis, and adherence to best practices (Clean Code)
• Fluent English language skills (minimum C1/C2)

Nice to have:

• Experience in projects for the financial or insurance industry (FinTech / InsurTech)
• Higher education in Computer Science or related fields

• Develop full-cycle new functionalities and actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Maintain and optimize the existing portal
• Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks
• Refactor legacy code and independently solve complex production issues
• Ensure code architecture and quality
• Make key architectural decisions and enforce coding standards (e.g., PSR)
• Conduct constructive code reviews
• Design and build all key modules and functionalities using native PHP
• Collaborate within an international development team
