Senior Fullstack Developer

Fungies.io is a next-generation e-commerce platform created for digital product creators such as gamedev studios, SaaS creators, course authors, AI tools, and subscription communities. The platform supports global customers including those from the USA, EU, and Asia, and features a multi-tenant (schema-based) architecture scaling thousands of stores on a single platform. The product is actively developed with a small, senior, and highly technical team working directly with founders without management layers.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a fullstack or senior fullstack developer
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript for both backend and frontend
• Experience with Next.js 14+ (App Router), React 18, Tailwind CSS
• Experience with Node.js and Express or equivalent backend framework
• Experience with tRPC or readiness to quickly learn it
• Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM (preferably TypeORM; Prisma/Drizzle knowledge is a plus)
• Knowledge of Zod, data validation, and end-to-end type design
• Experience working with Stripe (Payment Intents, Subscriptions, Webhooks)
• Experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront
• Awareness of security concepts: OWASP, JWT, auth flow, RLS/multi-tenancy
• Experience leading projects independently from architectural decisions to deployment

• Experience with SaaS, e-commerce, or marketplace products
• Knowledge of multi-tenant architecture

• Develop and maintain applications in a monorepo architecture (pnpm + Turborepo) including backend (Express + tRPC), seller dashboard (Next.js 14), and client storefront (Next.js 14)
• Design and implement new product modules such as payments, subscriptions, licensing, integrations, and AI
• Work with PostgreSQL in a multi-tenancy schema-based model (TypeORM, migrations, query optimization)
• Develop public APIs (REST v0/v1 and tRPC) with webhooks (Stripe, PayPal)
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, mentoring, and setting technical standards
• Optimize performance, monitoring (Sentry), and AWS infrastructure costs (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFront, SES, SQS)
• Collaborate with founders on product roadmap from conceptual discussions to release
