Senior Infrastructure Consultant (Backup)

• Hands-on experience with enterprise backup tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, TSM/Spectrum Protect)
• Understanding of backup concepts such as full, incremental, differential backups, retention, and replication
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Understanding of storage concepts and enterprise IT operations
• Experience in incident handling and service operations
• Structured, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders
• Willingness to work on-call or shift-based schedules

• Operate and maintain enterprise backup and recovery solutions
• Monitor backup jobs, identify failures, and perform troubleshooting
• Execute restore requests and support data recovery activities
• Ensure proper configuration of backup policies, schedules, and retention rules
• Perform regular checks of backup success rates and system health
• Investigate and resolve incidents related to backup and data loss
• Collaborate with infrastructure, storage, server, and application teams
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and continuous service improvements
