Infrastructure Architect (Data Center, VMware, Cisco)

MetLife Poland is undergoing a significant transformation across the EMEA region, operating six regional data centers supporting test environments. The company is moving toward a unified global operating model to strengthen internal knowledge, improve collaboration between regional and global teams, and provide consistent, scalable support worldwide.

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in Data Centre migration design and end-to-end implementation
• Strong knowledge of systems, networking, cloud technologies, and IT architecture principles
• Hands-on experience with Micro Segmentation, Cisco Networking, VMware Virtualisation, SAN/storage technologies, Load balancing (e.g., Netscaler), and Data Centre infrastructure (rack design, power requirements)
• Full understanding of IT infrastructure technologies including Network, Storage, Backup, Replication, HCI, Virtualisation, Windows and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of AS400 systems is a great benefit

• Develop and maintain architectural blueprints for networks, servers, and storage
• Evaluate, select, and integrate new technology solutions ensuring performance and security standards
• Lead infrastructure-related projects from conception to completion
• Implement security policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Ensure all system designs meet required regulatory standards
• Monitor system performance, manage capacity, and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with project managers, business leaders, and IT professionals to align infrastructure with business goals
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure processes and standards
• Develop and lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning
