Interest Rate Risk Expert (k/m)

• Relevant work experience within the financial sector, preferably banking
• Completed academic education in economics, econometrics, applied mathematics, finance, or comparable training
• Knowledge in Asset and Liability Management and new regulatory developments regarding IRRBB
• Sound knowledge of risk management and financial products
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written

Nice to have:

• Quantitative background with understanding of market risks (interest rate, liquidity, FX)
• Understanding of banking group complexities and recent regulatory changes
• Curiosity and ability to quickly master new material
• Pragmatic problem-solving skills in dynamic environments
• Team player adding value to Financial Risk organization
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and writing skills in English
• Ability to handle cultural differences, conflicting interests, and complex challenges constructively

• Analysis and monitoring of market risk at the ING Group level
• Implementation of regulatory requirements in IRRBB
• Managing models and tools for measuring and monitoring interest rate risk
• Supporting senior managers and other stakeholders in managing interest rate risk
