Senior Go Backend Engineer

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. It focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Commercial experience in backend service and infrastructure API development using Go.
• Experience designing and managing REST API and gRPC in cloud-native systems.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MariaDB, including schema design and query optimization.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and IaaS concepts.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines in DevOps.
• Good command of English (minimum B2).

Nice to have:

• Experience using AI tools in daily work.
• Experience with OpenStack.
• Knowledge of German language.

• Develop backend services and infrastructure APIs in Go.
• Design and maintain REST API and gRPC in cloud-native distributed systems.
• Deploy workloads using Kubernetes with Docker and Helm.
• Work with PostgreSQL and/or MariaDB databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Manage cloud infrastructure concepts and IaaS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines in a DevOps environment.
