Civil Engineer & Python Expert - Freelance AI Trainer

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of research, applied, or teaching experience.
• Proficiency in Python for writing reference solutions.
• Fluency with or strong willingness to learn scriptable civil engineering packages such as OpenSeesPy, CalculiX, YADE, bempp-cl, or similar.
• Ability to design problems requiring specialized solvers.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
• Willingness to self-learn if unfamiliar with listed tools.

• Pick an anchor tool and design a problem that hinges on its solvers, simulation kernels, or domain-specific models.
• Write a Python reference solution, supply input files and geometry definitions where needed.
• Decide the numerical answer and define domain-appropriate tolerance for correctness.
• Test the problem against the AI model in batches, tuning difficulty to achieve a 10–30% pass rate.
• Collaborate with a senior reviewer to ensure high task quality.
• Rewrite load cases, tighten boundary conditions, and analyze AI agent behavior to calibrate problems.
