Senior DevOps Engineer

The position is in the banking industry, with a hybrid work model preferred in Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warsaw, or Łódź, Poland. The role supports the development of Data Products and involves collaboration with international teams in an agile environment.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools, specifically Jenkins or equivalent.
• Proficient in Ansible and Terraform for automation tasks.
• Solid Linux knowledge and excellent scripting capabilities.
• Basic experience with Kubernetes and Linux containers.
• Familiarity with Git, preferably using BitBucket.
• Fundamental programming skills in Python and Groovy.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kafka and Airflow.
• Familiarity with AWS and Hadoop.
• Knowledge of SonarQube and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Tekton and Spark.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins (JobDSL, Groovy).
• Automate configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
• Create and maintain scripts with shell/Python to support developers.
• Develop small utilities to assist CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to the development of microservices based on containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Act as a liaison for DevOps-related discussions with external teams.
• Support AI adoption in Data Area applications.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues on Kubernetes.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing on DevOps solutions (trainings, demos, presentations).
• Provide support for developers and QA engineers.

Candidates must be located in or near preferred areas (Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warsaw, or Łódź) with hybrid work preferred; remote work is possible. The contract is B2B with a rate of 170 PLN/h plus VAT.
