Automation Engineer (Python)

This role is within the banking industry, focusing on credit processes enhancement through automation and data validation tools development. The position is hybrid-based in Warsaw or Tricity, Poland.

• Develop and maintain Python-based tools supporting data validation, automation, and quality controls within credit processes.
• Learn and expand automation testing capabilities using the Robot Framework and contribute to automated test suites development.
• Analyse data quality issues, investigate inconsistencies, and propose improvements to processes and tooling.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into automation solutions.
• Support verification of functionality delivered by external vendors through automated and manual validation.
• Continuously expand technical knowledge, including basic understanding of Mainframe (SAS) solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, proactively identify improvement opportunities, and drive them to completion.
• Support team activities, including Jira backlog maintenance and Scrum ceremonies when needed.
