Senior DevOps Engineer

Ework Group operates with international teams in an agile setup, supporting development of Data Products primarily built in Scala and Python. The role involves providing automation and pipelines for testing and deployment.

• Good knowledge of Jenkins or other CI/CD automation suites
• Good knowledge of Ansible and Terraform
• Good Linux knowledge and scripting skills
• Basic skills with Kubernetes (Linux containers)
• Experience with Git (BitBucket)
• Basic programming skills in Python and Groovy

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins (JobDSL, Groovy)
• Develop configuration and automation using Terraform and Ansible
• Develop and maintain scripts using shell and Python
• Develop small utilities to assist CI/CD pipelines and developers/testers
• May develop microservices based on containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Act as contact person for DevOps needs with external teams
• May develop and support applications supporting AI adoption in Data Area
• Troubleshoot deployment problems on Kubernetes
• Share knowledge about DevOps mindset and solutions through internal trainings, demos, and presentations
• Support developers and QA engineers

Candidates able to come to office 1-2 days per week may be prioritized but it is not a prerequisite. Currently, no office presence is required except participation in PI planning once every 3 months in person.
