Staff Software Engineer

RTB House is a global company providing state-of-the-art marketing technologies for top brands and agencies worldwide. Their proprietary ad-buying engine is powered entirely by Deep Learning algorithms. The Bidding Platform organization processes over 20 million requests per second to participate in real-time auctions and display advertisements to customers from 90+ countries.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex software systems.
• 3+ years of tech leadership experience in medium or large organizations (e.g., tech lead, staff, architect roles).
• Excellent understanding of complex, distributed IT systems from hardware and networking to software and algorithms.
• C1 level proficiency in English and Polish.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the AdTech/Real Time Bidding space.

• Gain deep understanding of ad technology and ad industry standards such as OpenRTB, MRAID, VAST.
• Analyse issues with end-to-end ad workflows, reproduce problematic cases, and propose improvements.
• Design technical and operational solutions to improve ad experience and performance metrics.
• Lead implementation of architectural solutions, ensuring high quality and evaluating business impact.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership including solving complex system challenges, planning and scoping projects, and ensuring high coding standards through code reviews.
• Cooperate with stakeholders across the entire organization.
