Executive Producer

Played With Fire is a studio creating VR games with a distinctive style, inspired by science, physics, and imagination. They have experience working on the Star Trek Infection project, marking a significant step in large VR productions. The studio is focused on ambitious, large-scale projects and is scaling its operations.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the gaming industry, including senior or lead roles such as Producer, Executive Producer, BizDev, or Studio/Operations Lead.
• Proven experience managing at least one commercial project (AA scale or higher) from production to release.
• Experience collaborating with publishers, platform holders, or other business partners in the gaming industry.
• Strong knowledge of the full game production cycle from pre-production to release and live support.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project resources.
• Highly developed communication and leadership skills, including negotiation experience with international external partners.
• Very good command of English (minimum B2/C1) and familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Notion, ClickUp, or Asana.

Nice to have:

• Experience in securing investors or building relationships with key industry stakeholders.
• Knowledge of marketing and PR to support studio visibility.
• Passion for and knowledge of the latest technologies, including Cloud, VR/AR/XR, and hardware trends.

• Actively seeking new business opportunities, preparing offers, and negotiating with investors and publishers.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key partners such as Meta, Sony, and Apple.
• Representing the studio at trade shows and events worldwide.
• Defining and enforcing project strategies, including creating roadmaps, schedules, and controlling budgets and milestones.
• Identifying operational risks and building scalable processes to support studio growth.
• Providing mentoring and leadership support to the current Producer and ensuring communication alignment across all studio departments.
