Senior Data Engineer (GCP) - Data & AI Factory

For our customer, French-origin IT consulting and digital transformation company we are seeking experienced, Senior Data Engineers to join a Data & AI Factory team.

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with Python
• Knowledge of GO
• Good DBT knowledge
• Proficient in SQL
• Good knowledge of Power BI
• Some experience with Vertex AI and Dataiku (certification a big asset)
• Experience with programming in Agile methodology and ITIL best practices
• Knowledge of database and data analysis technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouse design, and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Relevant experience with GCP data products and services
• Some experience with job orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster)
• Some experience with data ingestion tools (e.g., Fivetran, Airbyte)
• Some experience in Hadoop and using platforms such as Apache Spark, Pig, or Hive
• Fluency in English

• Work as part of the Data & AI Factory team supporting data-ops and AI projects
• Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines, models, and transformations
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot data observability solutions to improve data quality
• Turn data into valuable business insights by preparing custom solutions optimized for each client
• Act as a trusted advisor for junior team members and lead by example
