Lead AI Engineer

• MSc/PhD in relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience as AI/ML Engineer with proven delivery of AI systems.
• Strong Python skills.
• Knowledge of agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, crew.ai).
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Exposure to NLP, computer vision, and broader AI techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and ML services (e.g., SageMaker).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Nice to have:

• AI/ML/cloud certifications (e.g., AWS ML, Azure AI Engineer).

• Lead design and delivery of AI/ML and agentic systems solving complex business problems.
• Build and deploy scalable AI products aligned with business goals.
• Drive adoption of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) for ML/AI industrialization.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of AI systems in production.
• Design and oversee scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Lead data ingestion, preprocessing, and transformation across hybrid environments.
• Implement data quality, validation, and drift detection processes.
• Guide model development, evaluation, and optimization.
• Drive experimentation and continuous improvement to enhance model performance.
• Integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.

At Bayer, the minimum monthly gross compensation for this role is 25,760 PLN, with final pay determined based on experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility, and internal alignment. The position is eligible for variable pay components such as performance-based bonuses.
