Data Engineer (GCP) - Data & AI Factory

For our customer, French-origin IT consulting and digital transformation company we are seeking experienced Data Engineers to join a Data & AI Factory team.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience working with Vertex AI and GCP data services
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Solid experience with dbt (Data Build Tool)
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
• Exposure to Dataiku (certification is a strong advantage)
• Experience with data architecture, including data warehouse design, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and distributed data systems
• Exposure to big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop (Hive, Pig)
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English

• Work as part of a Data & AI Factory team supporting data operations and AI initiatives for enterprise clients
• Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines, transformations, and data models
• Develop and support data observability and data quality solutions
• Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and analytical products
• Act as a technical advisor and mentor for junior engineers
• Lead by example in engineering best practices, code quality, and delivery standards
• Collaborate in an Agile environment and follow ITIL-aligned operational practices
• Participate in on-call rotations (including nights and weekends when required)
