AWS Cloud Developer with Java

The Group Technology Team is developing a modern IoT platform that transforms traditional hardware into connected solutions. The platform involves large-scale data processing and dashboard/reporting features for professional users.

• Proven experience as a Cloud Developer with strong programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Java development.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and toolchains.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in serverless and event-driven application development.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Develop and maintain backend services primarily in Java.
• Integrate and compose AWS building blocks to implement platform features.
• Develop AWS Lambda functions using Go where required.
• Review peers’ code to ensure quality, maintainability, and security standards.
• Author and maintain end-to-end (E2E) tests to validate system behaviour.
• Contribute to defining platform architecture with a focus on security and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support device management, monitoring, and predictive maintenance features.
