Senior Software Architect (.NET)

The client is a leading provider of vehicle lifecycle solutions headquartered in Chicago, connecting a network of insurance companies, repair facilities, parts suppliers, and data providers to enhance productivity and customer experience in the transportation industry.

• 6+ years of professional experience in .NET application architecture and development with strong C# skills
• 5+ years designing and deploying cloud-native solutions using microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed-system design on Azure or AWS
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor
• Proven experience with security protocols like OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and identity providers such as Okta and Azure AD / Entra ID
• Knowledge of application security best practices including secure APIs, rate limiting, secrets management, RBAC, and Managed Identities
• Ability to produce and present architecture artifacts such as diagrams, specifications, and solution blueprints
• Solid understanding of data integration patterns and event-driven systems on Microsoft Azure (Event Hubs, Service Bus, Kafka) or equivalent AWS services
• English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level

• Design and evolve cloud-native architectures across the full platform stack on Microsoft Azure and equivalent AWS services
• Define and deliver predictable, resource-oriented REST APIs focusing on performance, security, and developer usability
• Apply microservice and domain-driven design (DDD) approaches to break large business domains into well-bounded services
• Apply modern architectural patterns such as event-driven, CQRS, and serverless for scalable and maintainable solutions
• Produce and present architecture artifacts including sequence diagrams, domain models, data flow diagrams, AI workflows, and cloud blueprints
• Provide technical leadership on cloud modernization, legacy-to-microservices migration, AI-readiness, and platform performance
• Embed security and compliance practices including identity management, access control, and encryption
• Collaborate with product and data teams to integrate AI and Generative AI capabilities into core products
• Champion AI and intelligent automation to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and delivery velocity
