Full Stack Developer (Angular & Nest.js)

Our client is a dynamic managed service provider headquartered in central Scotland, offering an integrated approach to technology for small and medium-sized businesses. They combine managed IT support, cybersecurity, and "Website as a Service" into a single, proactive partnership, focusing on security hardening, cloud management via Microsoft 365, and scalable web solutions without long-term lock-in contracts. The team operates with agility and transparency, moving away from reactive help desk models to a proactive, engineering-led approach, currently expanding their reach across the region.

• Proven commercial experience as a Full-Stack Developer, with a heavy focus on Angular.
• Extensive experience building server-side applications using Nest.js and Node.js.
• Mastery of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong background in REST API design and database integration.
• Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD development workflows.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker and containerized deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Deep understanding of web security, authentication protocols, and performance optimization techniques.

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-centric front-end applications using Angular.
• Architect and enhance scalable server-side services using Nest.js and Node.js.
• Design, implement, and integrate secure RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Proactively troubleshoot, test, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure technical excellence and mentor team members on best practices.
