Infrastructure Engineer

ITFS Sp. z o.o. is hiring for an Infrastructure Engineer role based in Warsaw, Poland, focusing on Google Cloud Platform and infrastructure automation.

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, GKE, and orchestration platforms (OpenShift or Anthos)
• Proficiency in automation tools Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with Linux systems, scripting, and virtualization platforms
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, GitLab)
• Basic knowledge of networking, storage (file, block, object), databases, monitoring, and logging systems
• Analytical skills
• Mobility and readiness for regular travel to client data centers for physical system installation
• Higher technical education
• Advanced knowledge of Polish and English (minimum B2/C1)

Nice to have:

• Cloud certification (especially Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of Linux distributions Red Hat/Debian and Windows systems
• Understanding of cybersecurity aspects (network security, application security, cryptography)
• Ability to independently develop scripts or applications in Bash or Python

• Installation, configuration, and deployment of platforms in clients' physical locations (on-premise)
• Automation of deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure, network, and performance problems
• Close collaboration with engineering teams and client-side security architects

Work location model is remote/mobile with home office periods between deployments combined with intensive business trips (about 60% of working time). Employment contract (Umowa o Pracę) with the client. Recruitment process includes phone interview, technical interview, project interview, and decision.
