Java Developer

Scalo is engaged in a banking sector project focused on strategic initiatives related to digital transformation and business process automation. The technology stack includes Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, React, JBPM, Apache Kafka, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Elastic, and Grafana.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in object-oriented programming
• At least 3 years of experience with Java, Spring, and Groovy
• Proficient with Git and GitFlow or Trunk Based Development practices
• Experience with Maven
• Experience working with Jenkins and CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Apache Kafka
• Experience using Elastic and Grafana
• Knowledge of static code analysis tools such as SonarQube
• Experience creating unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, or Spock
• Good understanding of REST communication
• Nice to have: knowledge of BPM/BPMN, Domain Driven Design, banking experience, test environment management, and code refactoring

• Participate in a banking project focused on digital transformation and business process automation
• Develop and maintain process code using Groovy, Spring Boot, JBPM, and React
• Develop backend and integration layers using REST/ESB
• Implement and maintain business processes and data models
• Perform developer and integration testing
• Support UAT and regression testing
• Create and maintain unit tests
• Conduct code reviews
• Analyze application and process logs
• Monitor and analyze production errors
• Work in a hybrid model with 2 days per week in the Warsaw office
