Data Analyst

• Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and Power Pivot
• Strong VBA development skills including macros, user forms, error handling, and performance tuning
• Solid understanding of data structures, data cleaning, and validation techniques
• Ability to handle large datasets efficiently within Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical spreadsheet solutions
• High attention to detail and excellent documentation habits

Nice to have:

• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools
• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
• Experience integrating Excel with external data sources such as APIs, CSVs, and databases
• Understanding of financial, operational, or compliance reporting
• Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience

• Design, build, and maintain complex Excel models, dashboards, and reporting tools
• Develop, optimize, and document VBA macros and automation workflows
• Transform raw data into structured, analysis-ready datasets
• Automate recurring reports, reconciliations, and data validation processes
• Create advanced formulas including Power Query, dynamic ranges, and array formulas
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across all spreadsheets
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and automation needs
• Maintain version control, documentation, and best practices for all solutions
• Troubleshoot and improve existing Excel/VBA tools for performance and reliability
