Wymagania
- Around 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer within the JVM ecosystem.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent understanding of Java language and frameworks, with good knowledge of underlying abstraction layers.
- Demonstrated technical leadership.
- Ability to work with minimal direction and collaborate across teams.
- Experience with Java 21, SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Splunk, New Relic, Microsoft Azure, OpenShift.
- Experience with RESTful web services and web application frameworks (Spring preferred).
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience with testing tools such as JUnit, Spock, Mockito, WireMock.
- Knowledge of Git, Maven and/or Gradle, and CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions).

- Be a coder; review and contribute code.
- Focus on performance, availability, reliability, and security.
- Contribute to the definition of features for services owned by your team.
- Effectively communicate your and your team’s progress to your team members, your Manager, and wider Tesco colleagues.
- Take a business problem and develop the technical strategy, high-level design, and lead implementation.
- Collaborate with SDEs across teams working on similar business problems.
- Propose and drive process improvements.
- Help elaborate requirements where necessary.
- Demonstrate technical leadership and exemplary behavior in design, delivery, code, and processes.
- Influence team’s technical and business strategy by suggesting novel approaches.
- Communicate ideas and get feedback from different stakeholders to achieve the right outcomes.
