Senior Technology Consultant

Autodesk is a company that creates software used in various industries including building, automotive, manufacturing, and media. The Process Modeling & Execution (PME) team, part of Autodesk Operations Solutions (AOS), focuses on Discrete Event Simulation and related solutions to help customers optimize and operationalize facility processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in Discrete Event Simulation, process improvement, or related domain with solid experience building and analyzing simulation models (FlexSim or similar preferred)
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, or other object-oriented languages
• Good understanding of manufacturing systems, process flows, and/or facility operations
• Strong analytical, abstraction, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and domains
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in related fields
• Experience using Autodesk FlexSim to build DES models
• Experience with AI and reinforcement/machine learning tools
• Basic understanding of facility operations and related applications
• Knowledge of digital twin or smart factory tools/concepts
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial engineering environments
• Experience in multiple domains of the Operations lifecycle
• Experience leading consulting workstreams or owning technical delivery
• Familiarity with CAD tools (Fusion, AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit)
• Good understanding of data integration, SQL, or analytics workflows
• Experience working in or with shared services or delivery organizations
• Additional language skills are a plus

• Deliver FlexSim DES consulting services across customer engagements from discovery through implementation, leading workstreams independently
• Serve as a senior technical contributor guiding project approach, model design, analysis, and customer communication
• Assist with technical support escalations as a subject matter expert
• Develop, validate, and present simulation models to analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with customers and AOS stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable solutions
• Support pre-sales activities including technical demos, solution design, and scoping
• Develop deep understanding of current and new AOS technologies
• Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Software Development, and Customer Success
• Contribute to development of standardized methodologies, reusable assets, and best practices
• Deliver training sessions, workshops, and presentations to customers, partners, and internal teams
• Mentor less experienced team members and support knowledge sharing within the Kraków hub and EMEA region
• Provide feedback to product teams to improve products and customer experience
• Work independently demonstrating ownership, accountability, and sound judgment
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, solution quality, and repeatability
