Java Developer with AI

Moondigo is a growing boutique technology and consulting company supporting large corporate clients in delivering, maintaining, and improving IT solutions. They operate in IT project delivery, cloud computing, DevOps, software development, delivery efficiency, and AI-assisted software creation, combining engineering experience with consulting maturity.

• Minimum 3 years (Mid) or 6 years (Senior) of commercial experience as a Java Developer.
• Very good knowledge of Java and the Spring/Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Interest in AI in software development and practical readiness to use AI tools in programming work.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture: design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience with relational SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Practical knowledge of REST API and documentation standards (OpenAPI / Swagger).
• Familiarity with cloud solutions: Azure or GCP.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge of Docker in development and production environments.
• Analytical thinking and ability to solve technical problems independently.
• Good command of English (minimum B2) for daily documentation and client communication.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration in production.
• Knowledge of queueing systems.
• Experience in insurance or financial industry projects.

• Design and develop backend applications in Java using microservices architecture.
• Create and enhance REST APIs and system integrations compliant with the insurance industry requirements.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools for code analysis, solution generation, refactoring, testing, and technical documentation.
• Co-design system architecture and participate actively in technological decisions from day one.
• Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, QA teams, and Product Owners in an agile work environment.
• Optimize performance and scalability of solutions for long-term product development.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality and readability.
• Create technical documentation to support onboarding and team development.
