Senior Java Developer — aviation industry (f/m/x)

The project is for a company in the aviation industry, a key provider of technology systems supporting the global aviation services ecosystem. The project is carried out in one of the client’s main technology hubs, responsible for developing strategic products and delivering innovations with global reach. The teams work on expanding platforms that support complex business processes and integrations between multiple systems.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development
• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot
• Experience in building and integrating REST APIs
• Practical knowledge of microservices or event-driven architecture
• Experience with public cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Knowledge of security mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT)
• Understanding of scalable systems design principles
• Very good command of English
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model in Cracow

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience in integrating AI systems
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management
• Experience in working on large-scale projects
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Orkes)

• Designing and developing backend services supporting business processes
• Building and developing APIs and integrating systems within a distributed architecture
• Creating solutions based on event-driven architecture
• Integrating backend systems with modern AI solutions
• Participating in the design and development of intelligent workflows
• Collaborating with the team to optimize and enhance solutions
• Developing highly scalable and highly available systems
