R&D Senior Embedded Engineer

• Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Developer with a minimum of 5 years in C/C++
• Knowledge in DevOps/CICD, Git, and Azure
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• Team player capable of working independently in a distributed, diverse environment
• Fast learner
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
• Fluent in English; German is an asset

• Develop new and legacy embedded software for ABB Excitation projects in C++
• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Work as part of an agile software development team
• Specify, implement, test, and document object-oriented real-time embedded software
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Collaborate with product and other software development teams
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Ensure software is updated with the latest features
• Deal with internal and external resources

The work model for the role is hybrid.
